Good oral hygiene of course must start at home, where we recommend you brush twice daily for two minutes with a fluoride toothpaste as well as flossing regularly. But to really help prevent the build-up of plaque, remove staining, and promote fresher breath, a yearly visit to the dental hygienist is the best option.
We use Airflow Tooth Polishing at Beverley House Dental Practice, which is both gentle and effective and can be used on sensitive teeth, restorations, and braces. For patients with advanced gum disease, we’re also able to offer Full Mouth Sterilisation. Our hygienist can also help develop a care plan for you to follow at home which will take in all your personal oral health needs and specifications.
